Finnish Passport Flipbook

This has been making the rounds, and it’s too fascinating (and topical) not to mention here: the new Finnish passport (from 2012) also functions as a flipbook, depicting a moose slowly moseying across the pages. Wonderful. I usually think about the aesthetic features of passports primarily as means of preventing forgeries, and I love the idea that a flipbook might be a feature that helps authenticate the passport as an official document. Look at that moose go!
