Fuze Tea Zoetrope by twofifteenmccann

San Francisco-based agency twofifteenmccann recently produced this impressive commercial to showcase Coca-Cola’s Fuze Tea product for a global audience (it was Adweek’s Ad of the Day on June 6th). Using twelve spinning carousels, and requiring a team of 30 artists, the commercial visually narrates a brief introduction to the tea, displaying its individual ingredients and depicting a little world populated by happy people enjoying the refreshing beverage. It’s interesting that the zoetrope concept was considered universal enough to appeal to a global market, and also noteworthy that the commercial is at least the second example of Coke’s recent forays into promotional optical toys (I wrote about the Coke thaumatrope here).
