Philips 3D TV

Using lenticular technology, last year, Philips debuted its WOWvx, a stereoscopic TV that sends separate signals to each of your eyes, rendering the image three-dimensional. The I think the cost and the lack of dedicated programming have prevented it from being a huge consumer hit so far, but its found applications in retail spaces, as well as in places like casinos. It was difficult to find a very good demo video, but here’s one (featuring a casino) that sort of seems to showcase its capabilities. Regardless of how much it’s being used right now, I am excited by the idea that people are still trying to develop products like these.
